Julie A. Kapp is a registered patent attorney with over two decades of experience in intellectual property law. She currently concentrates her practice in drafting patent applications across a broad range of technologies, including mechanical and electro-mechanical fields.
Julie has worked with clients ranging from individual inventors to Fortune 500 companies, for which she has advised on patentability and prosecution strategies, drafted and prosecuted patent applications, and managed global intellectual property portfolios. Her technical expertise spans across many industries, including aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, consumer products, medical devices, target sports, robotics, as well as control systems and related methodologies.
Prior to joining Harrity & Harrity, Julie worked in private practice handling various patent and trademark matters, where she established a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of client relationships. Her legal acumen, paired with a strong technical background, enables her to effectively assist clients in their intellectual property goals.
Outside of the office, Julie is an avid outdoorswoman with a passion for motorized sports and gardening.
