Manager of Patent Operations

Natalie Parcell is the Manager of Patent Operations at Harrity & Harrity, where she leads the New Applications and Prosecution teams. In her role, she ensures all deadlines are met, coordinates seamless communication across teams, and implements client-specific and firm-wide procedures. She is instrumental in developing and refining internal processes, workflows, and tools to ensure operational efficiency. A key part of her responsibilities includes assisting with the maintenance of Patent Hub and many other in-house developed bots and tools that streamline day-to-day operations.

As part of the firm’s leadership team, Natalie works closely with attorneys and support staff to provide comprehensive, high-quality attorney support. She ensures that the support team has the resources, training, and guidance needed to perform at their best, fostering an environment of efficiency and excellence. Natalie is dedicated to maintaining an optimized workflow that allows the entire team to deliver top-tier results for clients.

Before assuming her current role, Natalie served as the Patent Prosecution Manager at Harrity for three years, after joining the firm in 2019 as a New Applications Specialist. With over 18 years of experience in the patent field, Natalie brings a wealth of knowledge from her work at several boutique firms in the Washington, D.C. area, where she served as an IP Specialist and IP Trainer. This experience has allowed her to hone her expertise in patent operations, shaping her leadership style and approach to optimizing team performance and operational efficiency.

Natalie holds degrees in Criminal Justice/Legal Studies and Applied Computer Science from the University of Central Florida. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Johnny, and their family, attending live music events, watching sports, playing video games, and being out and about—whether it’s trying new foods, shopping, or taking walks with their two miniature schnauzers, Lucy and Roxie.
