Patent Prosecution Specialist
Rachel Palmerini is a Patent Specialist with more than 24 years of experience in intellectual property law. She began her career in intellectual property at IBM, where she spent more than two decades supporting attorneys, inventors, and outside counsel throughout every stage of the patent prosecution process. Her experience includes coordinating patent filings, preparing and reviewing prosecution documents, maintaining intellectual property records, monitoring critical deadlines, and ensuring compliance with USPTO requirements. Having built her career in a fast-paced corporate intellectual property environment, Rachel brings extensive knowledge of patent prosecution and portfolio management. She is recognized for her exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to providing outstanding client service.
Rachel earned her Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies from Mercy College and also received a Paralegal Certificate, providing her with a strong foundation in legal principles and supporting her successful career in intellectual property.
A lifelong New Yorker, Rachel enjoys spending time with her two sons and her two pets, a cat named Cheeto and a dog named Larry. Outside of work, she is an avid reader who loves collecting books, proudly displaying each one on her bookshelves as a personal trophy. She also enjoys discovering new restaurants and traveling whenever she can, with Aruba holding a special place as her favorite vacation destination.
