Robert Aragona is a Patent Attorney at Harrity & Harrity with experience across all phases of intellectual property law, including utility and design patent preparation and prosecution, foreign prosecution, licensing, contracts, trademarks, and patent search analysis.
Robert has substantial experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. His practice includes drafting patent applications, preparing responses to Office Actions, appeal briefs and related filings, as well as conducting patent and trademark database searches.
Before joining Harrity, Robert practiced as a Patent Attorney at IBM, where he earned IBM’s Trustworthy AI and AI Ethics Knowledge Credential. Prior to IBM, he practiced at Carter, DeLuca & Farrell LLP, gaining experience representing clients across a broad range of intellectual property matters.
Robert earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Fordham University and his Juris Doctor from New York Law School. While in law school, he received a Public Service Certificate in recognition of his commitment to public service, as well as a Certificate of Commendation with Honor and Distinction for completing a specialized course of study in Intellectual Property Law.
Robert is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is also a member of the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO).
Robert resides in Huntington, New York, with his wife and their boy/girl twins.
