Suzanne Lombardo is a New Applications Specialist at Harrity & Harrity with more than 20 years of experience supporting U.S. and international patent prosecution. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience managing patent matters from application through issuance, preparing and electronically filing patent documents, maintaining complex patent portfolios, and coordinating with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), foreign associates, and clients.

Suzanne has significant experience preparing and filing patent prosecution documents, including declarations, powers of attorney, information disclosure statements, assignments, and related filings. Her background also includes reviewing and responding to USPTO correspondence, conducting prior art research, managing docket deadlines, and coordinating prosecution workflows to support timely and accurate filings.

Prior to joining Harrity, Suzanne served as a Senior Intellectual Property Legal Specialist with IBM, where she managed U.S. patent prosecution matters, maintained patent portfolios, reviewed incoming patent correspondence, and utilized Anaqua docketing software to coordinate filing deadlines and prosecution activities.

Previously, Suzanne spent nearly eight years with Ohlandt, Greeley, Ruggiero & Perle LLP, supporting U.S., PCT, and foreign patent prosecution matters. In this role, she prepared patent filings, maintained prosecution dockets, coordinated with foreign associates, and drafted correspondence to clients and patent offices throughout the patent lifecycle.

Suzanne brings extensive knowledge of patent prosecution procedures and intellectual property administration to her role at Harrity, along with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience managing high-volume patent portfolios and critical deadlines.
