Jesse Coulson is an Innovation Specialist on our Software Team with a technical background in computer science and artificial intelligence. He has experience working with AI-based applications across a range of technologies.
Prior to joining the firm, Jesse worked as a Patent Examiner at the USPTO, where he examined artificial intelligence patents across numerous technical domains, including LLMs, model compression, synthetic data generation, and novel training methodologies and architectures.
Jesse received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and his Master of Science in Computer Science, with distinction, from California State University, Chico. During his graduate studies, he conducted research in deep learning, with a focus on explainable AI and model compression. Outside of his academic work, Jesse has built projects exploring practical applications of generative AI.
Jesse currently resides in Chico, California. In his personal time, Jesse enjoys learning about new developments in tech, reading, and exploring new hiking trails.
