S. Ethan Harris is registered patent agent with considerable experience preparing and prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications for clients. Such applications have covered a wide variety of technical fields such as wireless communication, network security, cloud computing, data storage, AI, software processes, UI, autonomous vehicles, printers, medical devices, financial processes, renewable energy plants, electronic construction devices, assembly apparatuses, and more.
Before joining Harrity & Harrity, Ethan worked at multiple law firms, including an Am 50 law firm, where he handled portions of various patent portfolios for over thirty clients of diverse technical and prosecution needs. During his undergraduate studies, Ethan worked as a full-stack software developer and as an electrical engineer for an engineering firm.
Ethan currently resides in SLC, UT and enjoys many extreme sports such as trail running, mountain biking, rock climbing, skiing, touring, backpacking, and a plethora of nerdy activities with friends.
