Rachel Allen is the Director of Practice Management and is responsible for reviewing all departments’ internal workflows for efficiency, including client specific and firm procedures, and development of new workflows as needed; helping with the creation and maintenance of Patent Hub and other various tools developed in house; working with clients to ensure that all guidelines are being followed and that clients are informed of changes that will affect their procedures; assist in workload balances and industry best practices; and provide general leadership to the Firm’s overall practice.
Rachel previously acted as Harrity’s Patent Prosecution Manager and has been with the firm since 2003, one of our longest-term employees. Rachel started as Patent Specialist on both our New Applications and Patent Prosecution teams before her promotion Supervisor and then Manager. Rachel previously worked at Oliff, PLC and has over 21 years of experience in the patent field.
She has a degree in English from the University of Alabama and enjoys spending time with her two daughters, traveling, reading, listening to music, and volunteering at her daughter’s school marching band.
