Kim Ashwell is a New Applications Specialist and has been in the patent field for 7 years. As a licensed cosmetologist, she earned her B.S in Leadership and Administration from Mid-Atlantic Christian University with the hopes of running her own salon one day. While managing a hair salon, her interests changed so she decided to pursue a Master’s degree. She attended Regent University School of Law where she attained a M.A. in Law with a concentration in Business Administration.
Kim formerly worked at Oblon, McClelland, Maier & Neustad in their IP Operations Department, first as a formalities specialist and then later promoted to Assistant Team Lead. She also worked at the technology company Ofinno, LLC as a Senior Patent Paralegal before joining Harrity & Harrity.
Kim enjoys spending time with her family, including her cat, as well as reading, listening to music and watching baseball. She also enjoys movies, baking and collecting Barbies.
Fun Fact: She and her husband ran a record label and organized multiple music festivals in their hometown area of Blacksburg, VA.
