Shyam P. Pandula, Ph.D., is a patent attorney specializing in patent preparation and prosecution before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Shyam has drafted and prosecuted patent applications across multiple technology areas, including 5G/4G, Wi-Fi, and ATSC wireless networks, computer networking devices, neural networks, augmented reality systems, data compression, and autonomous vehicle navigation.
Prior to joining Harrity & Harrity LLP, Shyam practiced as an attorney at Sterne Kessler Goldstein & Fox PLLC. Before starting his legal career, Shyam was a faculty member in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at George Mason University for over a decade, where he taught courses on wireless communications and computer networking. He served as the Director of M.S. in Telecommunications Program at George Mason from 2018 to 2020.
Shyam received his J.D. with a specialization in Patent Law and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, both from George Mason University. Shyam’s doctoral research focused on multi-antenna techniques for 4G wireless communication systems.
