Robin O is a patent attorney with extensive experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications. He specializes in electrical and computer technologies, including telecommunications, computer hardware and software, telematics, data analytics, networking devices, medical devices, and business methods.
Prior to joining Harrity & Harrity, Robin practiced in-house at Allstate Insurance Company managing an international patent portfolio relating to telematics, software development kits and applications, cloud-based solutions, data mining, and predictive analytics. He handled every stage of the patent procurement process, from ideation and invention harvesting sessions to patent preparation, filing, and prosecution. He also advised multiple business leaders on product clearance, enforcement, licensing, litigation, and acquisitions.
Robin started his patent law career as a patent agent at Miller, Matthias & Hull where he drafted patentability, freedom-to-operate, and invalidity opinions, as well as prepared and prosecuted patent applications related to electrical and computer technologies.
